Big changes are DMCAcoming to the Apple Watch... but not until at least 2024.
According to Mark Gurman's "Power On" newsletter for Bloomberg, a new “Watch X” model is in the works at Apple, set to be released in 2024 or 2025 to mark the 10-year anniversary of the device (introduced in 2014).
The Watch X will likely feature a slimmer watch case and a magnetic band that would replace the current locking mechanism and provide more space for components like a bigger battery. A microLED display and a blood pressure monitoring capabilities are also supposedly in the works.
Don't want to wait until 2024 to buy an Apple Watch? Gurman says that Apple’s Watch Series 9, set to be revealed in September, will look a lot like the current model. It'll stay the same size as the current models of the Watch, though a "minor refresh" will introduce faster processors and new colors.
