Big changes are DMCAcoming to the Apple Watch... but not until at least 2024.
According to Mark Gurman's "Power On" newsletter for Bloomberg, a new “Watch X” model is in the works at Apple, set to be released in 2024 or 2025 to mark the 10-year anniversary of the device (introduced in 2014).
The Watch X will likely feature a slimmer watch case and a magnetic band that would replace the current locking mechanism and provide more space for components like a bigger battery. A microLED display and a blood pressure monitoring capabilities are also supposedly in the works.

Gurman says that Apple’s Watch Series 9, set to be revealed in September, will look a lot like the current model. It'll stay the same size as the current models of the Watch, though a "minor refresh" will introduce faster processors and new colors.
