LOS ANGELES -- Miss San Diego Comic-Con already?Watch Midhunter Con Man has got you covered.

The show, which debuts its second season on Dec. 8 on the Comic-Con HQ streaming service, follows the post-show life of Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk) co-star of a sci-fi series, which was canceled before its time and went on to become a cult classic beloved by fans.

Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred as the series Captain and has gone on to become a major celebrity, while Wray (Tudyk) hasn’t found his desired level of stardom.

Mashable got an exclusive look at season 2 (above).

"[The show] is rooted in the comic convention world, which is extraordinary, but fans are just normal people," Tudyk told Mashablein an email interview. "We are telling stories of normal yet passionate people, in extraordinary circumstances and incredible settings - it’s not just naturally funny, it’s fun. Who doesn’t like fun? I mean besides those people? Who else? That’s right, nobody. Everyone, except those few jackasses, likes fun."

Season 2 guest stars include Nolan North, Casper Van Dien, Eliza Dushku, Felicia Day, Laura Vandervoort, Mindy Sterling, Lou Ferrigno,  Jon Huertas, and Allison Haislip.

Lionsgate and Comic Con International launched their SVOD service at San Diego Comic Con this year. The service is available for under $5 a month.

The companies decided to launch the service in the first place in part to cater to their passionate community of attendees. In recent years, Comic-Con reported its San Diego attendance has topped 130,000 people, a huge surge from the 300 attendees at the first-ever con in 1970.

"Con Man is a celebration of the world of Cons and that fandom," Tudyk said. "So is Comic-Con HQ."
