Feeling overloaded with AI announcements?Sorority Sorry, but it's tech developer conference season and Microsoft Build is next.
Microsoft's annual developer conference is following on the heels of Google I/O and OpenAI's Spring Update, and Apple's WWDC is just a few weeks later. So, for this year's edition of Build, you can expect a lotof AI announcements relating to how Copilot AI is being integrated into Windows.
The event will be held on Tuesday, May 21, but not before Microsoft holds a Surface AI event on May 20 to showcase its new Qualcomm Snapdragon Surface Pro laptops. These were announced back in March, and the rollout follows a similar strategy to what's been seen past the few weeks at Google's Pixel 8a and Apple M4 iPad reveals — announcing all the new hardware before dumping heaps of AI announcements on consumers.
This year's Build event will run from 12 PM ET/9 AM PT, and you can watch the entire event live. Here's how to watch:
You can catch the event live on YouTube (embedded below). Additionally, you can watch on the event's official site, build.microsoft.com. You'll need to complete the free registration, and then you'll gain access to the event's sessions and information directly from the website.
