At the UNICEF Snowflake gala at Cipriani Wall Street last night, Clinton made an impromptu appearance to introduce Perry, who was being honored with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award.

We need champions like Katy now more than ever: her passion, her energy and, yes, her voice, louder than a lion.”

Along with Caryl Stern (President & CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF) and Pamela Fiori (Founding Co–Chairperson of the UNICEF Snowflake Project), Clinton presented the award to a beaming Perry.
