There are The Farmer’s Bride Requires Care! Part 2: The Organic Grand Strategyno secrets. It's a hard truth Samsung is learning over and over again as one micro-leak after another appears to tell us every little detail of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone.
SEE ALSO: Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus rumored to have a 6.2-inch screen, April 21 launch dateNow we may have the whole enchilada, a picture-perfect render of the Galaxy S8 from serial leaker Evan Blass. Blass, currently listed on his LinkedIn page as a mobile reporter at VentureBeat, has almost five years of pretty much spot-on device leaks under his belt, so we tend to trust his finds. This one is definitely among his biggest.
It shows a render of Samsung's eagerly anticipated handset, which Samsung hopes will be a much-needed comeback after the Galaxy Note7 fiasco, and seemingly confirms many of the existing rumors about it:
It has a huge, almost full-length 5.8-inch screen that curves on both sides. There's no room for a physical home button/fingerprint sensor, which means that it's probably on the back of the device, which is not shown in the leaked image.
The screen also features curved corners, similar to the recently unveiled LG G6.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
There's a front-facing camera with a pretty-decent-sized lens, which should mean more megapixels (perhaps 8?). To the right appears to be another lens, likely the infrared lens for iris login similar to what we found on the dearly departed Note7.
At the bottom edge of the device is just a hint of a cutout for the still-included 3.5mm audio jack.
The lock screen also appears to have a new and quite elegant design, featuring the time, date and phone and camera app icons.
Finally, there's the date. It's March 29, 2017, the same day Samsung plans to reveal the Galaxy S8. The company teased the launch during Mobile World Congress with a 30-second video, without actually showing the phone.
It's possible that this is just an expertly executed render from a third party, but we doubt it.
The cat's out of the bag and we can't wait to meet it later this month.
