Donald Trump has sparred with the media,The Perfect Taste of Sex and CNN in particular, since the very start of his campaign.
This is from The Donald about a month after he took that slow ride down the escalator at Trump Tower to officially announce his candidacy.

That's child's play compared to what we're seeing now. In the past few days, the battle between Trump and CNN has turned into a legitimate slugfest.
Ever since the end of the Democratic convention, CNN has been hammering Trump around his reaction to the speech of Khizr Khan, a Muslim American whose son was killed while fighting for the U.S. in Iraq.
Since then, CNN has focused much of its political reporting on the Khan story, who has touched off wider condemnation from the families of those have had loved ones die while fighting for the U.S.
On Sunday, Brian Stelter hosted Jason Miller, a senior communications adviser with the Trump campaign.
The interview became tense when Stelter hammered Miller on Trump's claim that Khizr Khan had no right to attack him during the Democratic convention.
Miller attempted to pivot the conversation away to other topics. Stelter was having none of it.
Fareed Zakaria, a CNN host, took it a step further on Monday, calling Trump's tactics "the mode of a bullshit artist."

That seemed to be enough to send Trump into a bit of a tweetstorm.
On Monday afternoon, he fired off six tweets in as many minutes targeted at CNN.
Trump reportedly later said during a press conference Monday that he would not be doing any more interviews on CNN.
Trump has generally been avoiding any TV appearances not on Fox News.

Trump has shown little hesitation to go after media outlets that has deemed to be covering him dishonestly. A variety of major outlets are already on his campaign blacklist, including the Washington Post.
CNN could be on that list too, as could the New York Times.
Late Monday afternoon, CNN had yet another way to torture Trump, this time aiming for what he has bragged about the most -- the polls.
CNN reporter that Hillary Clinton received a significant bump following the Democratic convention and now has a sizable lead over Trump.

CNN has also been making use of its on-screen graphics to fact check Trump's campaign.
The channel first used an on-screen fact check in June over Trump's statements about whether Japan should have nukes.
This time around, CNN fact checked Donald Trump's son Eric, who claimed that his dad had apologized to the Khan family.
