Last week,With You Again a forensic study revealed that bones found on a tiny Pacific Island are likely those of famed pilot, Amelia Earhart.
SEE ALSO: Bones found on an island in 1940 are '99 percent' likely to be Amelia Earhart'sThe island in question is Nikumaroro Island, one of the Phoenix Islands in the western Pacific ocean, hundreds of miles away from any other land, and apparently, as discovered by NYMag, boasts a 3.8 star review on Google.
Currently, Nikumaroro Island boasts 48 reviews from people who have probably never been there, which ranges from ridiculous to, well, even more ridiculous.
Seems like fans of Earhart (and maybe of small, desolate Pacific Islands in general) have taken to Google to express their feelings about Nikumaroro Island.
There's some favorable reviews, and some on the more average end. Not all of them have to do with Earhart, but there's a gratuitous amount of bone jokes.
One person reviewed the island for Amelia Earhart, who never had a chance to do so herself.
Some took the opportunity to send their condolences to Amelia Earhart, posting a simple "Rest in Peace" for the pioneering aviator.
Hopefully, Nikumaroro Island enjoys its high rating and moment of internet fame.
