Fresh from the tumult over disinviting Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House,Watch Big Breasts Overflowing With Hands, The Wifes Runaway Online here comes another: President Trump will be without a visit from the NBA champs for a second straight year.

First up, LeBron "U Bum" James made it pretty crystal clear when he said, "No one wants the invite anyway, so it won't be Golden State or Cleveland going."

If you're thinking, "Hey, that's mighty presumptuous of LeBron James to speak for both teams," well, Warriors star Steph Curry followed up saying, yep, LeBron had it right.

Curry also referred to last fall's tizzy over their non-visit to the White House, saying, "The way we handled things last year, [we'll] kinda stay consistent with that."
Later on Tuesday, Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who has been plenty critical of Trump in the past, put the nail in the coffin when he lambasted the president for his attempt to "divide all of us in this country for political gain."

September 2017 feels like decades ago in the news cycle of the Trump administration given that a million other tiny disasters have happened since then. But here's a quick refresher:
In the wake of the Warriors' 2016-2017 championship win over Cleveland in June 2017, rumors swirled that the team wouldn't be heading to the White House for the traditional champions visit.
The team never directly addressed those rumors over the summer. When training camp for the 2017-2018 season began in September, the question was raised, and Steph Curry said, bluntly, "I don't want to go."

That's when Trump played the "You can't say no, I'm taking back your invite" card.

That was followed by dropping the now-famous aforementioned "u bum" burn on Twitter. and the rest was history.

Meanwhile, the defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx set a new (and pretty great) standard for everyone by saying that their upcoming visit to D.C. will not include a visit to the White House but willinclude community service.
Trump hasn't responded to either of these announcements, but history and his ego assure us he'll have something to say on the matter. At least the drama won't play out over the summer this time, which frees us up to stress out over the roughly 600 otherfires caused by the current administration.
